Breaking news! The European Union (EU) Commission announced that it was decided to give “equivalence” to the Covid-19 vaccine certificates applied by Turkey, North Macedonia and Ukraine.

In the statement, it was stated that the decision will be valid as of 20 August (tomorrow), and that 3 countries will be connected to the EU vaccine certificate system, that the vaccine certificates they issue will have the same conditions as the “EU Digital COVID Certificate” and will be accepted in EU countries.

In the statement, it was stated that the 3 countries in question will recognize the vaccination certificate issued by the EU, and it was noted that the practice will facilitate mutual safe travel.

VACCINE CARD IS PROVIDED FROM HAYAT FITS HOME APPLICATION

People who have completed the second dose of vaccine can obtain their “COVID-19 Vaccine Card” via e-Nabız or Hayat Eve Sığar (HES) application.

The vaccine certificate in question contains various information such as name, surname, TR identity number, date of birth, types of vaccines administered, manufacturers and vaccination dates.

The vaccination certificate application, prepared by the EU to facilitate travel during the epidemic, entered into force on 1 July.

No additional testing or additional restrictions are applied to travel to people who have been certified as BioNTech-Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson and Johnson among the Covid-19 vaccines approved in the EU and 2 weeks have passed since the last dose.

The vaccination certificate, which is frequently checked during travels, is valid in Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland, along with all EU countries.
