Passengers on international flights to Turkey are required to present a certificate of vaccination 14 days before their travel date or a negative result of the PCR test performed within 72 hours before arrival.
As of June 1, new decisions were taken for flights to Turkey from abroad. Regarding the decisions taken, an announcement was made on the Turkish Airlines (THY) website for passengers.
Accordingly, people coming from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brazil, South Africa, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and people who are understood to have been in these countries in the last 14 days are requested to submit a PCR test report with a negative result at most 72 hours before the arrival time in Turkey. These people will be quarantined for 14 days in places to be determined by the governorships.
It was stated that the flight bans to Brazil and South Africa also ended within this framework.
TEST OBLIGATION FOR PASSENGERS FROM 4 COUNTRIES
Regarding decisions, persons from the UK, Iran, Egypt and Singapore will be required to submit a negative PCR test report made no more than 72 hours prior to entry.
TEST WILL NOT BE REQUESTED FROM THE VACCINE
Passengers coming from other countries other than certain countries, on the other hand, are required to submit a negative PCR test report separately from those who submit a document issued by the relevant country’s official authorities stating that they have been vaccinated at least 14 days before entry and/or that the Covid-19 disease has been passed within the last 6 months. and quarantine measures will not be applied for these people.
If the vaccination certificate or the documents proving the disease cannot be presented when entering Turkey from these countries, the PCR test report with a negative result maximum 72 hours before the entry or the submission of the negative rapid antigen test result made maximum 48 hours before the entry will be deemed sufficient.
