San Marino opens its doors to vaccine tourism: two doses of vaccine for 50 euro

San Marino opened its doors to vaccine tourism by offering Sputnik V vaccines developed by Russia. Two doses of Sputnik V vaccines are sold for a total of 50 euros.

According to the news in The Guardian, everyone in San Marino with a population of 34 thousand has at least one dose of corona virus vaccine. Sputnik V vaccine, which has not yet been approved by the European Union, was mostly used in the country.

THEY WILL REGIVE VACCINE TOURISM
Within the scope of the tourism revitalization work, the way to vaccine tourism has been opened in San Marino since last week. Tourists coming to the country have to make a 3-day reservation at one of the 19 hotels included in the agreement. Tourists who have been vaccinated have to make a three-day reservation two weeks later. The price of two doses of vaccine was set at 50 euros.

THOSE WHO WILL ACCEPT TOURISTS FROM ITALY
The vaccination program in San Marino is currently only open to tourists from countries with which Italy has opened the border.

San Marino, a tiny city-state in Italy, does not have a visa for Turkish citizens, but your first stop will be Italy, as it does not have its own airport. A Schengen visa is required as you will be passing through Italy. There is no passport control at the entrance and exit from San Marino.

San Marino, which is not a member of the European Union, made a vaccine agreement with Russia in February.

“I trust the Russian vaccine so we made a reservation when we got this opportunity,” said a tourist from Lithuania to San Marino, where Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines were administered.
